Description
vintage stockcar 1938 body, frame 1951 chevy pick-up with straight axel. rearend is an 8 bolt ford with 486 gear. i built it in 1995-6, and raced it in 97,99,00,01. i raced around 6 races each year, has never been wrecked. has been in garage at all times when not racing.i have several wheels of different sizes that go with it. the car is ready to go, needs nothing but gas. only studebaker that i know of. one of a kind. this car handles great.
History
raced on dirt only on tracks across iowa this is the only studebaker i've seen out there racing. you can be the next to have that privilege to own this one of a kind. I might deliver if possible.

competitive in its class, always did good, but after rebuilding the trans. in 2000. i won my first 2 races out.it made a big diff. on performance
